Meurphy, N.C. Jan 25th, 1882 J. W. Terrell, Webster, N.C. Dear Sir: I have been thinking of selling some property I have in Cherokee. The parties have made some propositions in that direction. Tell me the cost you would take for the “Thomas interest” in the “Bank Lot” at Murphy? Would be glad to hear from you soon. Yours Truly, L. E. Mauney
