This issue contains the 1993 membership list, the year-end financial report, and the 1993 index. Have you ever had such a wonderful surprise that it almost took your breath? That is just what happened to me regarding the index. While X have been muttering and grumbling and wondering how X was going to get it done, our life member Larry Crawford spent his time in doing not only the 1993 index but also the one for the 1992 volume and presented them to me gr atui tous ly. "% CALENDAR February 10, 1994 - 7:00 p.m. Regular Society meeting, Jackson County Public Library. The program will be a video which has just been released entitled "Back of Beyond." This video deals with the north shore settlements which were covered by Fontana Lake and will provide a fascinating glimpse of life on Hazel Creek, in Bone Valley, and at Procter. Our member Helen Vance lived on the north shore and can give us a first-hand report of many of the scenes. Plan now to attend and see this interesting video.
