to run all risks, thoroughly test the property, and it will be to our interests to make it as valuable as possible, we with the influence we will bring, will be enabled to make it as [], either as a selling or working property as any other parties in the confederacy. One of the gentlemen being connected with government will be enabled to bring it to its notice if there is any thing there at all. I know nothing of it except what I have heard [forming in] and of it turns up well we will be in a situation to make it bring its full worth, If the gentlemen will give us the [] paying Bond it will offer to us immediate encouragement for making investigations and I can safely promise them that if we can send
