  • Portrait of Murphy with toys and a photo of his grandfather, whom he describes as a role model, “a solid, dedicated worker, husband and father.” Murphy makes the toys in town and is proud to contribute to the local economy. He came to Asheville for the mountains and says it’s a “wonderful place to be an artist.”
