  • that you will walk in the footsteps of your loved and sainted mother, and that with your little brothers we may all at last meet her and form a united family in the home of the blessed, without the loss of a single wanderer, But remember my, dear ones, that it is one thing to put on the Christian armour and another thing to make the Christian warfare. one thing to profess religion and another to live the christian life. Jesus says “Then shall it be said unto the righteous - not that ye got religion at such a time or place, but ‘come’ ye blessed of my Father etc.” For I was hungry and ye gave me meat a thirst and ye gave me drink, naked and ye clothed me sick and ye ministered unto me in prison and ye visited me, and the Apostle says “Pure religion and undefiled is to visit the fatherless and the widowed and keep thyself unspotted from the world. I am necessarily compelled to write in haste, but I hope you will read my letter with care as the admonition of one who can have no thought but for your welfare,
