  • Portrait of Merenda holding one of her dogs, King. She brought him because, "He represents everything good and cool- as do all dogs. strives to be more like him every day." She moved to Asheville in 2006 after she fell in love with it while on vacation, and has stayed because she loves the city, people, mountains, and her dogs love it.
