Volunteers Mr C S Buchanan Silas Green p. g. green Sept. 13th 1861 Dear Sirs with pleasure I can that I am yet among the living my health is not very good present I have been unwell for some days but I am some better I have not been past going about I hope these fiew lines when comes to hand I may find you all enjoying a blessing of good health I Re’c’d your letter the last day of last month it was dated the 17 of Aug Whitch was a great satisfaction to me although there was about half of your letter we could not read from you Say in your letter I under stand that Barker was¬ other sold one yoke of oxen an¬ intends to sell them and keep 40 dollar of the money but I am not Sertain that is what you say I want you to make sale of my property I want you to sell all the oxons if you can get 65 dollars for the young oxons take that price and no less and sell everything else that nancy is willing to spar I hereby authorize you C. S. Buchanan Silas Green and p. g. green to sell my property for the most money you can and nothing but money I forewarn any other person or persons of dealing with my property only the
