  • January 8th MOUNTAIN LITERATURE PROGRAM Did you know that there are other ways of being inspired than by climbing mountains? Come down to the Y W C A for this program and find out just how it can be done. Music, Literature, Games. Surely there is no hiker hut enjoys each of these. Jim Thompson will be on hand to put pep into the music. Of course, this is, mainly a mcccing to enjoy good mountain literature and discuss, the books on mountains we have read and enjoyed most. We will have a few snappy book reviews on mountain climbing and national parks in other parts of the country as well as local material. As for the games, we are all still young enough to enjoy them and with such a leader as George Barber, who wants to miss them? Let's all be at the Y. W. C. A. Club Rooms Friday night, at 7:30 p. m. and help start this New Year off with a bang! Leaders: GURLEY 1RTT (J-5027) RUTH HUNTER (6-1555) // One impulse from a vernal wood May teach you more of man, Of moral evil and of good Than all the sages can. Wordsworth 11
