In this letter of March 27, 1889, H. P. Hyde writes to Captain James W. Terrell explaining the survey certificate cannot be issued on Entry no. 920 because the survey is incomplete.

March 27 / 89 Robbinsville NC Capt Jas.. W Terrell Dear Sir: Yours of Even date at hand and contents noted I would like to comply with your request though as we faild to make a Resurvey on Entry No 920 I can not issue certificate same will certify to all as far as we made and actual survey and that is all I can do I don’t think you will mind certificate untill Survey is fuly completed. Capt I would do any thing for you I could and do myself. Justice, we have found all your outlines. and the remaining lines calls for farmer. Yours with respect H. P. Hyde CS
