I am well at this time and hope my lines will find you all in the same condition. I have nothing that is very interesting to write at this time. We are now within sight of each other. Every day our pickets has taken some of the Yankies prisoners and the Yankies has taken some of ours. There is skirmishing every day between our pickets and the Yankies, though there has not been many killed yet on neither side.
