The Executive Committee has decided to try to enlist the interest of the women of the country. It is with this view that ^ write to ask you to accept the Presidency of and organize a woman's auxilary to the Appalachian National Park Association, We believe that a careful examination of the printed matter sent you, especially the report of the Secretary of Agriculture, and a thorough investigation of the movement will convince you of the great good to this arid coming generations in the passage of the bill now before Congress and will lead to your acceptance cf the position, in which we feel quite sure you aan render a great service to your country. If you have any doubts as to the mer its of the measure we request that you write to Hon.
