  • February twenty-eighth, 1901, Miss .f?iisabsth. 0.,Abbott, COr, Sec, Botanical Society of Pa,, University of Pennsylvania, Ph il ad e Iph ia, Pa, My dear Miss Abbott;- At a general meeting of the Appalachian National Park Association held recently here in Ashevilie it vat moved that one of our Vice-Presidents should be elected from your Association, and as Secretary I was instructed to write you asking you for the name of such person as the Association would be pleased to designate, provided,':i0f course, the Association and such individual would accept the same. Our Constitution and By-Lavs provide for twenty-five Vice-Presidents and the following have already been elected and signified their acceptance of the same : Hon. *m» R, Day, Canton, Ohio, Dr. Henry 0, Marcy, Boston, Mass Col, A.
