This 1973 correspondence, from Congressman Roy A. Taylor to Doug Reed, concerns the Horace Kephart collection. Horace Kephart (1862-1931) was a noted naturalist, woodsman, journalist, and author and promoter of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
