My dear Congressman: We here are all terribly interested, and much pleased, at the efforts you are making to get the Government to supply the money necessary to complete the purchase of the land in the Great Smoky Mountains Park area. Would it not be a good idea to have Senator Eeynolds offer this as a amendment to the bill when it comes to the Senate? This would certainly relieve any doubt that might exist as to whether or not the Reforestation Act gives the President ample authority.
