Convention announcement

This letter of October 1902, addressed to the citizens of Asheville, requests that they attend the upcoming convention on behalf of the Appalachian National Park Association and the Asheville Board of Trade. The convention was successful with 1,500 people from various states attending.

Dear Sir: Asheville has been instrumental in awakening the widespread interest in the proposed Appalachian National Forest Reserve. Knoxville and other neighboring towns will be here with large delegations this p. m. to attend the Convention called by the Asheville Board of Trade and the Park Association.
