  • Whittier N.C. June 8 - 99 Dear Father after writing you this morning I saw Mr Dun-lap and he says he only has material to finish the roof and probably oil enough to finish the work at Whittier I told him I would let him have [?] enough to finish it up. The boards run out at Luftee but [leoner?] got 1600 move but has no time for valleys but said Miller had it ordered and was looking for it today. they will finish as soon as the tin comes in. Ma got a letter from Jesse today and says he is uneasy about you and cant hear from you said he had written you I will do the best I can have not Seen Floyd about the lumber yet. Tell the girls to write me at once and write often As ever C. A. Bird
