Cullman Ala. Oct, 25 1889 Dear Capt. With the greatest of pleasure, I write you a few lines which leaves us all well except Pa. and he is getting better since he came to Ala. I think we have a much healthyer country than N.C. if it could be prosable we have all had our health very good in this country Well Capt. I want you to look after our lands in fork of rivers below rockey point settle the tax for us we still want to let you and the Thomas boys have that entry of 518. acres in the fork of the river that was entrusted
