April Steyert

  • Portrait of Steyert posing with her first "real" camera, a Nikon FG. It signifies her photographing reggae musicians and how that changed her life. She came to Asheville for it's vibe and stayed for that, it's people, and beauty. She became a part of the Faces of Asheville project as part of her mission to take negative things (being in front of the camera) and turn them positive.
